Sheek Louch’s newest album Silverback Gorilla 2 will be released through legendary indie hip-hop label Tommy Boy Entertainment (Ghostface Killah, Method Man). Throughout his work with LOX, his solo releases, and recent appearances at events like Coachella and SXSW, Sheek has proven time and time again that mainstream success won’t erase his roots in hardcore rap. Just this year, Sheek performed at the 2015 BET Awards in honor of Bad Boy’s 20th Anniversary, at Radio City Music Hall with The LOX, at the annual Hot 97 Summer Jam, and at Irving Plaza with Ghostface and Raekwon. Sheek has since released additional solo records including 2008’s Silverback Gorilla as well as 2012’s Wu Block, a historic joint album with Ghostface Killah featuring members of the Wu-Tang Clan and D-Block. Never slowing down, the MC released his second album, After Taxes, in 2005 featuring appearances from Fabolous, Beanie Sigel, T.I., Redman and his two LOX cohorts Jadakiss and Styles P.
